​Ma2ta "is a heartfelt endeavor by two Iranian sisters who have navigated the tumultuous seas of separation from their homeland, grappling with the profound impacts of a dictatorial regime. In the face of adversity, we two sisters, like many other Iranian artists, have been forced to endure the hardships of exile, sacrificing not only their connection to the rich tapestry of Iranian culture but also the painful loss of family, friends, and ancestral roots.
We have initiated two missions to portray daily life, emotions, and visual stories through our distinctive perspective and artistic lens.
